| Marriage Preparation |
| Arrangements for the celebration of marriages
at Our Lady of Peace are to be made at least six months before the wedding takes place. A
day of marriage preparation entitled "Love for Life" is held at St.
Josephs Hospital. This "Love for Life" program is presented three times a
year, usually twice early in the year and once in the fall. Registration forms for this
program can be picked up at the parish office. Also, a number of meetings with the pastor
are required. It is up the to engaged couples to make arrangements for these meetings. The
parish office phone number is 384-9414. |

| Baptismal Preparation |
| A class for parents seeking baptism for a child
is given approximately every two months by the pastor. This gives the pastor an
opportunity to get to know the parents a little better. Also, it is a time to review the
parental obligations that accompany the presentation of a child for baptism. Finally, a
biblical background to the sacrament is presented, and the class attempts to apply this
background to everyday life. The dates of the class are announced in the parish bulletin. |

| Adult Enrichment |

an in-depth study of Scripture or some other topic related
to spiritual growth. Therefore, every year during Lent and
the month of October we hold a religious education course

The DeSales Series has eight one-hour video teachings
together with a participant book. The courses are:

- Writings of St. Paul
- The Catholic Creed
- Christian Morality and Forgiveness
In the Little Rock Scripture Study there are:
- Gospel of Mark

RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
The RCIA program is designed for adults who consciously and freely seek to learn about the Catholic Church, its theology and practices.
Regular classes usually begin in the early Fall and continue through the Easter Season. The preferred time for receiving the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) is at the Easter Vigil Service.
The classes are open to anyone who:
- is considering full membership in the Catholic Faith Community
- is an adult Catholic who needs to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation
- is an adult who wants to grow in knowledge of the faith and practices of the Catholic Church
- is an adult willing to share his/her knowledge and love of the faith with others

Additional Enrichment Opportunities
Parishioners who seek in-depth study of Scripture, Church history, theology, spirituality and prayer forms may join groups formed for that purpose. Bulletin announcements give details of any opportunities that will be available.
Parishioners who have interest in a specific topic or area of study that does not seem to be available, are invited to contact those in charge.
The OLP Church Library has many resources that may be used by any individuals or small groups. All parishioners are invited to avail themselves of these resources.
