 The Stained Glass Windows of Our Lady of Peace Because the concern for peace is a timely one, it seemed
pertinent to continue this theme in the nave windows. Therefore, each of the nave
windows is devoted to a particular kind of peace. As one faces the sanctuary, the
window on the right nearest the narthex contains the resurrection phoenix, the legendary
bird which rose again from the flames. This symbolizes Peace that comes with eternity.
